Loving and Losing Haiti: a BBC Correspondent Remembers

Our seventh news is named "Loving and Losing Haiti: a BBC Correspondent Remembers". There is no author's name. We found it on February 7th. We believe that the theme is natural disaster. There isn't any bias.

A very powerful earthquake occurred in Haiti. It was so powerful that it destroyed almost everything, including a very beautiful place called Montana. Many people were living in Montana. Since an earthquake occurred in that place, it is destroyed and people who lived there have no place to live. Roads were destroyed there, and there are many things that stink. Because of that many people have AIDS diseases and they can't be cured because they do not have money for operation or medicine.

Also, after the earthquake occurred there were many babies born. But they can't live long because some of the babies do not have a mother, milk or food. Some of them were born with AIDS diseases. Also, there are children who got their bodies burned. Other kids do not have parents and where to live.

Tae-yeon Lim: I think that the kids that have lost their parents and had burned their bodies are too poor because they will miss the time they were able to play and have fun.

Isabel Seong: I believe that we have to be thankful for what we have: we have parents who love us, food to eat, water to drink, and a school to learn. Because in other hand, people in Haiti, especially kids are having serious problems and they are having a very difficult time.

This is a tragedy, we must all help to make these unfortunate people happy again. We must donate things to these people in Haiti.
